Starting and Starting Over

Early on in the pandemic, work slowed way down. I wanted to remain connected within the SLP community and begin sharing some of my own experiences, and thus I started learning to make resources, join more online groups and tried to start this website. I was excited to start but quickly lost steam. Between learning a new mode of therapy, rebuilding my caseload and coping with the world around me, this side project got put on the back burner. But one thing I have learned is that while it is great to embark on new projects, it is also OKAY to put them on pause. You don’t have to be doing the most to be successful. But what I also learned after months of fretting that I wanted this page to be robust and comprehensive and perfect before I launched is that sometimes perfection isn’t necessary. So that said, it is still a work in progress but I am excited to be starting over, finally moving forward and having this new platform to share and interact about my favorite topic.
